About Me
I started modelling in my younger years as the most of us with Airfix airplane's.
After that i did alot of time nothing in modelling. At my 16 year i build plastic scale modells off racingbikes and formula 1 and classic cars. Thereafter i build wooden tall ships untill the whole family get stock with them.
Then i decided to go fly with radio-controled modelgliders. That was real fun.
Unfortunally with moving to another place there was no space for flying the modelglider so i gave up flying with the glyders
Then i started building armor and soon I realized my real passion was bringing the figures into the armor to life. I enjoyed building the armor kits, but there was something very special about bringing that moment in time alive with a figure.
The biggest thrill so far, for me, is being a part of the Antwerp Model Soldier Society (AMSS).
This is a club for figure painters, and I am alot of greatfull to all off them for all the help i get from the members to help me with my figurepainting .
I am a orthopaedic technician and still working at the plasterroom for 20 years in the hospital of Vlissingen in the Netherlands.
I was born in a hospital in Sluiskil a little village near the city of Terneuzen. I grow up in my hometown Koewacht a little so called Bourgondisch village near the border with Belgium. They call us spare Belgium's.
At the moment i live in a small village near the city of Goes named Lewedorp.
Traditionally I attend the AMSS, and Herzog von Bayern figure shows.
I am primarily interested in the World War I figures, Medieval figures and I enjoy the figures of the Napoleontic Area and been interested in Celtic's as well.
